The Saturday Six

1. What is your favorite holiday song? The Carol of the Bells
2. What is your least favorite holiday song? Grandma got run over by a reindeer
3. If you had to sing a holiday song Karaoke style at a Christmas party, which one would you choose, and why? Probably Silver bells or Santa Claus is coming to town because I am not the best singer and my high notes are not pretty.
4. Take the quiz: Which Christmas Carol are you?

Your Christmas Song Is

The Chipmunk Song

Christmas, Christmas time is near
Time for toys and time for cheer
We've been good, but we can't last
Hurry Christmas, hurry fast

No matter how old you get...
Christmas is all about the presents!

5. Does it bother you if you walk through a store that has signs that say “Happy Holidays?” Not too much, because I understand that some faiths/religions do not celebrate Christmas.
6. Does it bother you if you find that the same store has displays that mention Hanukkah and Kwanzaa by name, but make no specific mention of Christmas? This does bother me, because other faiths/religions are mentioned in this case and the Christian holiday is left out. That I believe is unfair.

Hi Antonette,
It doesn't bother me to see the different holiday salutations but I agree with you that it's wrong to show Happy Kwanza or Happy Hannika and not Merry Christmas. This is America and we were founded on Christianity, so we should have greetings for our special holiday displayed proudly.
Anyway, we've been tagged, so we're passing it along to you. You can pick up the details at http://dietskinallergiesindogs.blogspot.com
Thanks and Merry Christmas!
