Dog Fighting

First of all, I believe that Vick's speech was a bunch of bull. Vick was coached very well on what to say and how to say it. I didn't believe one word he said and throwing in the "found God" phrase is getting a bit much especially after Paris used it. All of a sudden everyone who gets into trouble finds God, how convenient.

While I was watching the Fox News Channel people are already throwing in the race card about the whole dog fighting subject. Give me a break people! It has nothing to do with race it has to do with abusing dogs. What is wrong with you people? Do you believe that if a white person did what Vick did the outcome would be different? No way!

I did some researching and found that dog fighting originated in Great Britain. Dog fights were common with the scumbags and lowlifes. After running its course in Britain, dog fighting made its way to America specifically the south.

Lowlifes, gangstas, the new ghetto generation or whatever you want to call them have spread into the inner cities. These people do not play by the rules nor do they even care. Some of these people haven't changed even after being taken from their backwoods or inner city lives and surrounded by fame and fortune.

The majority of Americans, black and white alike have morals, values and want to clearly avoid anything to do with the "thug life".

Let's look at the Vick ordeal for what it really is: a low-life with millions of dollars, who was clearly involved with dog fighting and had great enjoyment in the killing of dogs. Period.

You said it perfectly! G was saying this morning that Vick would get off with a slap on the wrist and wouldn't serve hardly any time because he was going to play the race card and people were going to throw a fit... I don't care if he was white, black, yellow or purple, doing what he did was just wrong! And then lying about it just made it worse. I'm going to be really disappointed if they turn this into a "look at the poor black man" thing!@! {sigh} And the finding God thing? PLEASE!

I couldn't have said it better myself!!
