Must be quite an old barn ! I find them romantic. When I was a child, I used to jump out of a window into the hay mountain built up just under it ! What a fun !

Yes it is a very old barn. They took down the old house, however the barn has asbestos shingles on it so I don't know if they will demolish it or not.

By the way, this is my last ww for a week or so. I'll be in vacationing in Florida from March 11-21.

pretty run down. There's sure to be leaks when it rains right?

You are right, I don't like this new Mr. Linky either and I noticed that people don't even put their link in, it looks too complicated I guess for some of them.

Lovely photo of an old, run-down barn. Sad to see it fall into such a state of disrepair.

There's just something about old barns, isn't there? Have fun in Florida.

Love the picture. There's something about an old barn that serves as a testimony of a life of work that was lived, and now past.

So sad, that this barn is neglected. What a waste! I'm sure there's a lot of stories behind it. Do you know why it's neglected?

Makes me wonder about the builders long ago.

Have fun down here in Florida next week. The weather is going to warm up in the 80's next week. Finally.

The person who owned that land died many years ago. It used to be an old milking barn. Don't worry the wood will be used by the amish once the asbestos shingles are taken care of properly.
