Sigh Of Relief (Sort Of)

What is happening today should have happened within a day after the hurricane hit. It would have been so much less stressful on EVERYONE!

The Military, Red Cross, Salvation Army, Faith-based groups are NOT to blame for not being there immediately. We should let them know we appreciate them. If we are to blame anyone in Louisiana it would be the local and state government. The federal government is not to blame either. The Governor had 3-5 days to prepare for Hurricane Katrina. She did NOTHING, nor did the Mayor. The Governor had access to National Guard Troops and chose not to utilize them until now. She also had the ability to call the federal government for assistance she did not do that. She didn't do anything until it was too late. These are facts!

Mississippi got their act together immediately. There was no looting (at least none that I heard of), no shootings, murders, rapes or carjackings. Granted Louisiana had the flooding to go along with the hurricane damage, but that is no excuse.

I WANT TO KNOW WHY VICTIMS CAN'T BRING THERE ANIMALS ALONG WITH THEM? PETS DON'T LOOT, COMMIT CRIMES OR REQUIRE A LOT OF CARE, UNLIKE THIER HUMAN COUNTERPARTS. THAT'S JUST INSANE THAT THEY WON'T ALLOW PETS!!!!

When they do finally start pumping the water out of the city, do you realize it's going to be filled with chemicals, fecal matter, gas and whatever else? It's going to cause serious environmental and ecological ramifications. It's going to kill fish and more wildlife. The people of Louisiana are going to make a disaster even worse now.

Ok I'm done for now. Be safe this weekend
